Les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s, tels que les rev\u00eatements, les plastiques, les g\u00e9otextiles, les textiles, les carburants, les panneaux aluminium-plastique, ainsi que les vitrages de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 automobiles, les pi\u00e8ces int\u00e9rieures et ext\u00e9rieures automobiles et d&#039;autres produits, doivent, conform\u00e9ment aux normes en vigueur, subir des essais de r\u00e9sistance aux intemp\u00e9ries.<\/p>\n<p>Les principaux facteurs de vieillissement des mat\u00e9riaux sont la lumi\u00e8re du soleil, la temp\u00e9rature et l&#039;humidit\u00e9. La chambre d&#039;essai de vieillissement et de r\u00e9sistance aux intemp\u00e9ries, \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&#039;une lampe au x\u00e9non, simule la lumi\u00e8re du soleil, la pluie et la ros\u00e9e. Les mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 tester sont soumis \u00e0 un cycle d&#039;alternance d&#039;\u00e9clairage et d&#039;humidit\u00e9 \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature donn\u00e9e. Ce dispositif permet de reproduire en quelques jours ou semaines les dommages qui se produisent en ext\u00e9rieur en plusieurs mois, voire plusieurs ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La chambre d&#039;essai de vieillissement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 lampe au x\u00e9non utilise une lampe \u00e0 arc au x\u00e9non qui simule le spectre solaire afin de reproduire les ondes lumineuses destructrices pr\u00e9sentes dans diff\u00e9rents environnements.
